Oh my, Google has done it again. I loved the new look Google Analytics, the way they had gone fully user-centric with their interface design. And then they went and done it to Google Docs, good work Google!

Google Docs has been around for quite a while now and only came across it a while back when I needed a quick and simple way to edit documents collaborately with other people. I was going to setup a web application on my server but thought I should check out what was out there on the free market, that was when I found Google Docs. Its been a good experience since.

From being able to save a document in multiple formats including PDF or being able to send an email in the documents for great ease of use, Google Docs has been a realy enjoyable application to use. Now they have gone and re-designed the interface and its amazing.

Google Docs - Try it out for yourself and see how nice it is to use another one of Google’s great online services.

This is a great clip to use when trying to explain Web 2.0.

I believe it really hits the nail on the head and puts forward the idea of seperating content from structure and providing interfaces to that content without the structure, therefore allowing  new services to evolve from multiple exsisting services in an attempt to provide a better experience.

Recently as I was browsing the net I came across this clip. It details how the future could unfold with a Media Revolution, how new technologies are transformed and then brought out by a larger company.

One of the most interesting claims is that it mentions Google buying Microsoft, fascinating. The scary thing is that because the way technology transforms society its becomes a possible future. Watch it and determine for yourself.

I have been play around with the path tool in photoshop lately and am surprised at its capabilities, its great when combined with creating a mask or using the stroke (with and without pressure).
