Hey guys,
Sorry I haven’t posted any new content lately I have become really caught up with the daily going-on’s of my company and therefore have neglected my blog.
To give you all an update we have kind of eased up on doing client work and starting to focus on our own projects. One project coming up is a open source php based project management system. We will be looking to launch that onto source forge late 2007. It will be designed so that someone with moderate OO skills in PHP can develop modules or customise certain parts. Here is a rough feature list:
- Project Module
- Task/Job Module
- Client Module
- Forum Module
- Document Management Module (Hopefully using the Google Doc’s API if its gets done)
- Invoice/Billing Module (Allowing invoices to be created using simple HTML)
- Employee Module
This and another few projects which are currently “top-secret” is whats currently on Dakine D & D menu.
Hopefully some of you will be a part of the open source community and will take part in making this a great system that everyone can easily utilise.
